A Few Words From Keith Crews

Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works, which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation (1 Pet 2:11-12).
We are strangers and pilgrims on the earth looking for a heavenly home (Heb 11:13-16).  We should not desire to remain here.  The earth is a place of war, violence, corruption, ungodliness and lusts.  Heaven is a place of peace with no death, sorrow, crying, or pain (Rev 21:4).  There are no murderers, sexually immoral, or liars in heaven (Rev 21:8).  There are no fornicators, adulterers, homosexuals, thieves, or drunkards in heaven (1 Cor 6:9-10).  That is the kind of place I want to live.  But, while I’m on the earth, I must abstain from fleshly lusts and live honorably and be engaged in good works.  Others should see Christ in me and want to go to heaven also.
